Another creation from the famed El Floridita, this cocktail’s sweet grenadine quality is
a nod to the 1950s cocktail party scene.
4 or 5 ice cubes
½ oz grenadine syrup
1 oz mint liqueur
½ oz lemon juice
2 oz soda water
2 oz rum blonde
Mint, to garnish
1 cherry or morello cherry, to garnish
Put the ice into a glass. Add the other ingredients, one at a time, and allow them to remain layered and unmixed. Add mint to the top. Garnish with a cherry place on the rim of the glass.
